Resistance Bands Set
Fôrs resistance bands can be used as a mobilising or strengthening tool.
This set includes one of each of our extra-light, light, medium and strong bands.
Resistance bands can be a tool for lots of different intents such as:
- General conditioning
- Prehabilitation
- Rehabilitation
- Speed and agility training
- Plyometrics
Each band has a differing tensions, each more suitable to different needs.
All bands are 2.08m in diameter with a different thickness. The thicker the band the greater resistance or tension.
Light Bands:
X-Light: Yellow, 6.4mm thickness, 5-15lb resistance
Light: Red, 13mm thickness 15-35lb resistance
These are ideal for prehab and rehab work on small muscle groups such as shoulders. They can also be super valuable for providing minimal support in gymnastics strength and kipping work to allow the body to work through the full range of movement. Eg, Muscle ups and pull-ups.
Medium Band:
Black, 21mm thickness, 30-75lb resistance
The medium thickness band has greater resistance which makes it a valuable strength building tool especially with the lower body- calves, quads, hamstring and glutes. These bands are also good options for mobility and stretching.
Strong band:
Purple, 32mm thickness, 45-100lb resistance
The thickest purple band allows you to obtain maximum resistance with squats, deadlifts, leg presses and shrugs. They can also be used in providing deep stretching in such mobility exercises as hamstring flossing and through the ankle joint.
Just remember to make sure your resistance band is well anchored around a secure table or couch leg before stretching.
